We’re excited to let you know that Boreham Wood Radio will be at Families Day this Saturday, 4th July, 12PM - 4PM as part of the Families Day at Meadow Park.

 

Come and visit our stall to meet the team, learn more about your local community radio station, and hear what we’ve been working on. We’ll be streaming music live throughout the day and would love to chat with you about our shows, community projects, and how you can get involved.

• Good Times, Great Music with Dereck Staines and Ken Moorton: Saturdays, 9am–12 noon

• The Dave Ellis Soul Show: Saturdays, 8pm–10pm

• Late Date with Dereck Staines: Saturdays, 10pm–12am

• Sunday on the Record with Sarah Tann and Keith Reeve: Sundays, 10am–12pm

• The Record Club with Dave Ellis: Sundays, 10pm–12am (repeated Thursdays, 9pm–10pm)

• Simon’s Diamonds with Simon Sims: Mondays, 5pm–7pm

• Boreham Wood Tales with Clive Glover and guests: Tuesdays, 7pm–8pm (repeated Sundays, 7pm–8pm)

A quick update from BWR…

We’ve been making fantastic progress over the past few months:
    • We’re now broadcasting across South Hertfordshire on DAB and online
    • Our volunteer team continues to grow, with over 20 people already involved
   • We’re expanding our programming with more local stories, music, podcasts, and community features

We’re always looking for new volunteers, whether you’re interested in presenting, producing, technical support, social media, or helping behind the scenes.
