Dereck has been broadcasting for over 50 years, starting out on Hospital Radio and over the years presented on Chiltern Radio, BigL and Community Radio. Today he presents “Good Times Great Music” a weekly programme that features all the music he grew up with, including two chart countdowns and news stories from the featured chart.

A seasoned radio veteran, Dave Ellis has lived in Hertfordshire since the mid 80’s, working for many years at the BBC’s Elstree Studios, now bringing his long running Saturday Soul Show to BWR along with the Sunday night Record Club, playing music as nature intended, direct from the original vinyl from the legendary Soul Towers.

Sandwiched in the middle Ken opens his nostalgia bag to reveal a number of musical features, plus keeping listeners up to date with local events and all of your ‘Whats Ons' in and around Boreham Wood during the weekend and coming weeks.
Radio listeners may remember me from the ‘Story of Glam Rock’ programme which ran for several years on local radio.
